The Yanbu linear alkyl benzene (LAB) plant is located in Madina Province, Saudi Arabia. The new plant will have a production capacity of 100,00 metric tons of LAB each year, which is a prime ingredient in the formation of synthetic detergents. Due to the high corrosive environments, many piping facilities were fabricated by Monel 400 materials, including pipes, fittings, flanges, and valves.
