The Inconel 600 fittings manufactured to ASTM B366 can be either corrosion-resistant fittings (of Gr. CRNCI) or ASME pressure fittings (of Gr. WPNCI) with UNS designation of N06600. These Ni-Cr-Fe fittings has have good oxidation resistance at high temperatures an resistance to chloride ion stress-corrosion cracking and caustic corrosion. Raw Material for Inconel 600 Fittings

Inconel 600 fittings can be made of UNS N06600 seamless pipes or tubes of ASTM B167, B516, B517; ASTM B168 UNS N06600 plates; ASME B564 Alloy 600 forgings or ASME B166 bars.

Product Types and Standards

The Inconel 600 fittings can be furnished as factory-wrought butt welding fittings, threaded fittings, and socket welding fittings. These fittings include different types of elbow, tee, reducer, cross, cap, stub end, plug, nipple, coupling, and branch outlet, etc. They may be manufactured in accordance with the dimensional requirements of ASME B16.9, ASME B16.11, MSS SP 43, MSS SP 95, MSS SP 97, ASME H34.1, ASME H34.2, and ASME H34.3.

Heat Treatment

Generally, Inconel 600 fittings of ASME B366 shall be annealed at the temperature of 1800~1850°F(983~1010°C).
