ASTM A182 F51 Forgings Used in ASME BPVC
Applicability and Temperature limits
The ASTM A182/ASME SA-182 F51 forging refers to forged flange, forged fitting or other pressure components made from duplex stainless steel ASTM A182 Grade F51(UNS S31803). The material has a nominal composition of 22Cr–5Ni–3Mo–N. Its P-Number and Group Number are 10H and 1, respectively. The ASTM A182 F51 forgings can be applied to ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code Section I, Section III, Section VIII-1, Section VIII-2, Section XII with maximum temperature limits of 600°F, no permitted, 600°F, 400 °F , 600°F, respectively.
