Identical with ASTM B523, ASME SB-523 is the standard specification of seamless and welded zirconium and zirconium alloy tubes. It also covers three same grades of zirconium as that of ASTM B658.  The standard specification covers referenced documents, terminology, classification of grades, ordering information, material and manufacture, heat treatment, chemical composition, tensile requirements, permissible variations in dimensions, workmanship and quality level requirements, significance of numerical limits, tests and inspection, certification, referee, product marking, packaging and packaging marking.
