Manufactured to ASTM B575(ASME SB-575), Hastelloy C-276(UNS N10276) can be used for FGD tower. According to ASME Boilers and Pressure Vessel Code Section II Part D, they are applicable for the construction of power boilers (Section I), nuclear power plant components (Section III Classes 2 & 3), pressure vessels (Section VIII Division 1), and transport tanks (Section XII). The maximum temperature limits for all services are the same at 1250°F.
