Zirconium & Zirconium Alloy Pipe and Tube
The zirconium & zirconium alloy pipe and tube refer to seamless and welded zirconium & zirconium alloy tubes made to ASTM B523 or seamless and welded zirconium & zirconium alloy pipes made to ASTM B658. The same as Zr & Zr alloy bars & wires, there three grades available: Grade R60702: unalloyed zirconium, Grade R60704: zirconium-tin alloy, Grade R60705: zirconium-niobium alloy.
Seamless zirconium & zirconium alloy pipes or tubes may be cold drawn or hot rolled, supplied in annealed condition. Welded zirconium & zirconium alloy pipes or tubes shall be made from ASTM B551 strips, sheets or plates by automatic arc-welding process, furnished with stress-relieving & annealing heat treatment. Specification of Zr & Zr alloy pipes & tubes available with Metals-Piping: size from 1/2″ to 12″, wall thickness covering SCH 5S, SCH 10S, SCH 40S, SCH 80S.
