Hastelloy C-2000
Designated as UNS N06200, Hastelloy C-2000 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy with a deliberate amount of copper addition which provides enhanced temperature capability in sulfuric acid, hydrofluoric acid, and dilute hydrochloric acid. The high chromium content maximizes its resistance to oxidizing chemicals and process streams contaminated with ferric ions and dissolved oxygen. Besides, Hastelloy C-2000 has excellent ductility and weldability, as well as has outstanding resistance to stress-corrosion cracking in chloride-bearing solutions. The UNS N06200 alloy is widely used in chemical processing reactors, heat exchangers, petrochemical piping, pharmaceutical industry, gas desulfurization systems.
